"Up on the Roof"

"We have met the enemy and he is us." So said Walt Kelly's Pogo.

Mr. Kelly explained what he meant: "I attempted to explain [that] each individual is wholly involved in the democratic process, work at it or no. The results of the process fall on the head of the public and he who is recalcitrant or procrastinates in raising his voice can blame no one but himself."

We're raising questions and asking you, if you're concerned, to raise your voice. You don't have to, of course. And you certainly don't have to agree with us.

But isn't it interesting that some folks think any discussion threatens the deal that's going down?

In a way they're right. A lot of the elements of this "deal" won't stand up to scrutiny!
