Read Articles: You'll Be the Life of the Party!

These are, as the purported Chinese proverb puts it, "interesting times."

We know you like to be informed; that's why you read Voters. Voters is your source for current information about what's happening in the District.

If you depended on that other source -- the District itself -- you wouldn't have a record of a School Board meeting until two months after it occurred. In fact, you would only know what tiny little crumbs of facts the leadership chooses to tell you.

Another source that you'll want to follow is Articles of Interest. There we excerpt news articles from around the state -- and occasionally from national publications -- that will be of interest to area residents. Recent articles there covered the boys-only experiment at Thornton Academy, a program for 3-year olds (that's right!) in Augusta, and the disapproval (by the State) of a Medicaid-funded day treatment program in Pittsfield (Gee, who else has such a program?).

Be informed, be the information source in your coffee klatch, read Articles!
