"Hot Time in the Old Town" Last Night!

Well it was a hot time in Exeter last night, at the MSAD #46 School Board Meeting; ask anyone who was there! Over the next few days, as I recover from all the excitement, I'll tell what I can.

The Superintendent reported on a meeting yesterday at the Department of Education, between the Superintendent and the Board Chair, and Scott Brown and his cohorts.

They began going through the Educational Specifications document and discussing the present use of space and the projected use of space. They will need to adjust the timeline; the architect is putting together a new timeline.

One idea under discussion for the projected new school is a wood-chip boiler (as is used at Leavitt Area High School).

They'll meet again in Augusta next week. Hopefully, some local public hearings will be held to discuss the boiler and low-slope roof ideas. Better keep a close watch here for meeting announcements.

There'll be a Hot Time (Hayden and Metz)
Come along, get you ready
Wear your bran', bran' new gown
For there's gwine to be a meeting
In that good, good old town
Where you knowded everybody
And they all knowded you
And you've got a rabbit's foot
To keep away de hoodoo.
