Budget Noose!
The Budget Workshop scheduled for tomorrow night has been postponed, to a date not certain.
The District announced this on Friday afternoon. The Budget Workshop ordinarily is the occasion for informing the full Board of the proposed budget that's been developed by the Superintendent and the Budget and Finance Committee.
We can't know exactly why the Workshop is being delayed. It's true that the allocation from the State is more in question than usual. But it's always more up in the air than usual!
On the other hand, if the budget is truly need-based, then do our needs really change according to how much State money is forthcoming?
