We Will Sell No Whine Before Its Time

It didn't take long for the District to update its New School web page to celebrate voter approval for the new pre-k-8 school.

Unlike its longtime practice of withholding minutes of meetings for weeks before posting, or posting agendas for meetings just hours before the time of the meeting, the vote was announced at approximately 7:42 am, less than twelve hours after the polls closed.

I guess it makes a difference when THEY want you to know something!

You all asked that the voters voice their opinion. We did and yet you are still upset with the results! The school passed and now our children have a chance to excel in an environment that is safe and most of all HEALTHY. I for one, am tired of my child being consistently sick. I can't wait for the new school and the hope that its existence will bring to our children and the communities. Accept the fact the the voters weren't scared into turning our backs on the needs of our children and future generations. We WON!! It's about time!

Obviously the District can post information on its website in a timely way, WHEN IT CHOOSES TO, as this event proves. Explain to me if you can why they haven't been as quick posting meeting agendas and minutes.

Would you care for some cheese with the whine?
