New School News
The Construction Subcommittee of the State Board of Education on Tuesday okayed splitting the New School Project between two bids, one for site work, the other for building construction, as proposed by the District and the architect.
If approved by the full State Board next Wednesday, a bid request for site work will go out in late September, with site work beginning in November.
The bid request for construction will be put out in the winter, for work beginning in April.
Update 9/18: Today's BDN confirms this information, and tells us that the State Board indeed approved the two-bid approach. Link when, and if, available.
