Crunch Time!

An interesting meeting last evening; not as interesting as sleep, but almost!

Here's the takeaway:
  • The concept plan is being adjusted as the architects negotiate with the State.
  • Blatt feels that the State DOE people are close to signing off on the concept.
  • It then goes to the State Board. Before it goes to the State Board, there must be another Straw Vote.
  • After approval by the State Board, then it goes to referendum, a minimum of 30 days after the State DOE concept approval.
Here are the dates:
  • Meeting with the DOE Thursday, January 18, 1 pm Augusta
  • Building Space Needs/Programming Sub-Committee Thursday, January 18, 6 pm, DRHS ATM Room
  • Straw Vote Thursday, February 1, 7 pm Dexter Middle School
  • DOE Construction Subcommittee Monday, February 5, Augusta
  • State Board of Education Wednesday, February 14, Augusta
  • Referendum Tuesday, March 20 (tentative)
These dates are posted on the Citizens of MSAD 46 Calendar. I'll write more on the meeting later.
