Budget Meetings

We call your attention to the following sequence of meetings (announced yesterday):

• Monday April 23, 2007, School Board Budget Workshop, 7:00PM, DRHS ATM Room
• Tuesday April 24, 2007, School Board Meeting to Adopt FY'08 Budget, 7:00PM, DRHS ATM Room
• Wednesday, April 25, 2007, School Board Meeting to sign Budget Warrants, 7:00PM, DRHS ATM Room

That last meeting had been scheduled earlier (3/31), and since no announcement about it has been made, we assume it's still on. We also expect that the date will hold because of legal requirements governing the timing of Board actions leading up to the June 12 referendum date.

It's a tight sequence that assumes that the rest of the Board -- those not on the Budget and Finance Committee -- will accept the Budget as is.
