True Love, Careless Love?

This week's Piscataquis Observer, as is usual of late, has interest and excitement in spades.

You should get your own copy and read it all yourself, of course. In the meantime, we'll just give you the gist.

Milo (SAD 41) is going with Dover (SAD 68). We don't know if this is "going" in the way that term is used in 7th grade, or "going" like in high school (or later). We mean no harm nor find fault when we state honestly we can't say whether the intentions -- of either party -- are honorable! Hopefully, these folks will just figure it out.

As they say at the zoo's bird house, toucan even better than one!

The other news is that Greenville (Union 60) is going its own way, more or less:
The Greenville School Committee had voted to impose certain conditions on the formation of any new RSU, including keeping of local control, retention of ownership of schools, the guarantee of no school closings, among other things. Those conditions were unacceptable to Anson, Bingham, and Jackman in the planning sages, as they were incompatible with the new mandate and technically illegal.
We'll keep you posted!

planning sages??? You must be getting sloppy in your own little world. Nice to know that one of the two most condescending men around occassionally makes a mistake! I can't believe it, nobody is perfect after all.
