Extras! Extras! Vote All About It!

The State specifies space allocations by function in planning for a new school, at least for the portion supported by the State. For instance, they allow so many square feet for a classroom, a certain size gym for X number of students, and so on.

However, local citizens may decide to have larger or additional facilities, depending on local priorities, and support these "extras" with local funds. Many districts, for instance, have decided to put in local funds for larger gyms, or for performing arts facilities, or for dual-use facilities of value to the larger community (seniors and others).

This week's poll question allows you to weigh in on what kind of facilities you'd like to see discussed. You may or may not ultimately support such "extras," but tell us what you'd like to see "on the table." Unlike our earlier polls, this one allows for multiple answers.
