We Get the Message

It has only been one month since we began to communicate with you, the voters, of MSAD#46 in this forum, but it has proven to be a rich, rewarding experience. We are both humbled and honored to report that we have been visited more than 6000 times at this site, as we have attempted to inform you of the news relating to YOUR schools.

Many of you have chosen to email us here to express your opinions or to convey your questions. We understand how difficult it can be for parents of students, or district employees, to ask probing questions about the direction or management of the schools, and we are willing to advance those issues publicly for you. Some of you are beginning to see how the blog works and hopefully will be reassured that your annonymity is protected when you decide to post comments.

I have been most impressed and humbled however, with the number of you who have personally contacted me, to express your support and appreciation for this site. Your remarks have been most gratifying and make it worth the effort, and I share these remarks daily with Mel.

Please accept our appreciation to you for guiding us in this effort, continue to email us with your issues and concerns and watch for future budget discussions after the public budget hearing on Wednesday, May 24th.
