Poll Results: Let's Talk About "Extras"!


Well, gosh, not too many surprises here. It looks like maybe people are interested in having a discussion! The "strength" of the sentiment for a performing arts center -- the numbers are too small to read much into -- may be a surprise to some. And it would be interesting to explore "other" extras; I'll bet the community has some interesting ideas. Let's hope we get a chance to explore these possibilities.

In SAD 3 (Unity, Thorndike, etc., etc.) there's a strong community effort underway for a performing arts center. (You may have seen this article in the BDN.) It looks to be all a private effort, nothing from the taxpayers, with the biggest chunk, roughly half, coming from a private philanthropic foundation. Too bad we don't have access to something like that! Hey, wait a minute...

You two guys didn't involve the public for more than 5 years when you were running the school board.
