Democracy is alive and well...somewhere!
As a public service, and as we've often done before, we've posted the agenda for Wednesday's School Board meeting. This time, because it's a long one, and thus a big file, we've posted it on the related Citizens site, here. As of the time of posting, you won't find it here at the District's web site.
But when you read the agenda, you'll see, right there on page one, reports from two subcommittees of the New School Project.

We hope you're aware that you are welcome--in fact, you're invited--to participate in these already-held subcommittee meetings. That invitation has been extended repeatedly.*
The trick you see, is in finding out when and where the meetings are held. They're not announced here. To be fair, and to give Caesar his due, in the past, some of the meetings have been announced, even before they occurred.
But since the referendum vote, you've needed to know an insider in order to participate!
By the way, be sure to vote tomorrow. Democracy can't work without citizen participation!
* "If you would like to serve on any of the new school subcommittees, or have a question about the project, please call the Superintendent's Office at 924-5262 or contact your local School Board members."
