Back to Work!

Today's Bangor Daily tells a confusing story about activity on education bills in the Maine Legislature over the last few days.

Essentially, it seems that the House has passed the changes to the consolidation law sought by Baldacci and Gendron, and turned down "superunions". The Senate "gave the measure all but final approval late Thursday."

Out on the Interstate yesterday afternoon, we saw those blue legislative plates streaming home, so we knew our solons had finished up their work.

No doubt members of the local RPC will be relieved that the law has been clarified. Now they can get back to their work!
