Poll Results: Site Fight Tight!

Not conclusive, of course. But that's the rub, isn't it?

If it turns out that voters are this divided, and if they continue to be this divided, then where are we?

When writing the post title above, I was thinking that "fight" was probably too strong a word. But maybe it isn't.

"Site" is definitely not an adequate word to characterize all that's involved in this discussion.

Many people continue to feel that an in-town Dexter site -- a "walkable" site -- is best. Not everyone feels we need a completely new building for the elementary students. Many in the "Eastern Townships" don't want to give up their community schools.

With these questions still pending, much of what influences people's reaction to a "site" has nothing to do with the site itself, and everything to do with these non-site questions.
