The work consists of Site work for the SAD #46 Pre K -8 School. The work involves on and offsite work for a new 750 student elementary school as shown on the Contract Drawings. Work includes but is not limited to earthwork; rock removal; construction of stormwater management facilities including water quality filters, a wet pond; wetland fill, enhancement, and creation, extension of water main to the site; reconstruction of the Route 94/Fern Road Intersection, reconstruction of 1,600 feet+ of Fern Road, construction of sewer force mains, a wastewater pump station and appurtenances; parking lots; access drives; sidewalks; curbing; fencing; athletic fields; yards; landscaping; utilities; environmental remediation of arsenic contaminated areas; demolition; and other work required by the Contract Documents. The work includes all site work for the building including excavation and backfill of utilities and foundation, preparing the building pad, placing all aggregates, and installation of underdrains around the perimeter of the building.There will be a walk-through on October 4 and bids will be opened on October 11.

SAD #46 is seeking modified commissioning agent services from an independent, certified third-party to ensure that mechanical and electrical systems are complete and functioning properly upon occupancy, and that the Owner's staff has adequate system documentation and training. The Commissioning Agent may neither be an employee, associate, or partner of the architect, engineer or general contractor, nor be a part of the design team or general contractor's team.Applicants seem to be screened through the Architect's office.
