A Dream Deferred?

The State Board Meeting scheduled for today, Wednesday, has been cancelled, according to this page.

In the meantime, here's some info:
One might suppose then that the MSAD #46 Board meeting has been cancelled too. You knew about it didn't you?

Got your agenda?

I'm an insider, don't ya know. So I get mine in the mail, on Saturday before the Wednesday meeting.

You'll search in vain for it at the District Agendas and Minutes page -- as of 8 am Wednesday. That's all right. Your elected representatives are taking care of everything -- everything -- for you. They'll take care of it!

And they have it on the fast-track to referendum too, just like we said here. No conspiracies, just the facts.

Update 2/16: The State Board Meeting has been rescheduled for next Tuesday, the 2oth, 10:30 am, Burton M. Cross State Office Building, ATM Room 103, Augusta. See you there!

Update 2/17 (9:38 AM, corrected 1 PM): Apparently, the MSAD #46 School Board did meet on February 14th. They approved the "Notice of Public Meeting " (Item B on the agenda) but not the warrant for the March 27th referendum.

A look at District web pages shows that all mention -- it was minimal anyway -- of the February 14th meeting has disappeared! How would anyone know that it had ever even been planned?

See this post for explanation of a new gift that shows up in the warrant for your consideration on March 27th. Wonder when the identity of "anonymous" will be made public? Maybe after the vote?

Update 2/26: The agenda for this meeting was posted today.
