Can We Be At Your Service?
There are less than four weeks left before the March 27th new school referendum.
Soon we will be covered in an avalanche of suddenly available "factsheets" designed to overwhelm the voters -- that is, the voters who are even aware of the impending referendum vote.
Apparently, the scheme being employed allows minimum time for community awareness of the vote, let alone the facts behind the decisions that have already been made.
It seems quite cynical to me that an institution which claims to be the "Heart of the Community" is unwilling to share information or discuss the closure of its small elementary schools with the public it claims to serve.
Is the public being expected to become the servant?
