Not-So-Mysterious Mystery Explained

Wednesday evening, the District identified the source of the $289,000 gift (for a larger-than-state-funded gymnasium) first announced to District employees on February 9. The presentation to the State Board of Education on February 20 also noted the gift, though only very obliquely through the project budget.

It is coming from the William and Joan Alfond Foundation.
